Summary

The Carrier Analyst I works with Pricing and Carrier Sales team members to review customer lanes and provide carrier leads on business opportunities. Carrier Analyst I works on projects/matters of moderate complexity. Work is managed, yet there is moderate autonomy.

• Demonstrates attention to detail, identifying and solving problems in a timely manner

• Gather and analyze information and recommend / develop alternative solutions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical and data analysis to match bid and contracted lanes with 3rd party carrier availability
• Develop and maintain 3^rd party carrier network balance reports / tools
• Work with Carrier Sales team to maintain 3^rd party carrier profiles and book of business
• Knowledge base for Carrier Sales team concerning current 3^rd party network capacity
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Excel functions including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements and Macros
• PowerBI expertise, ability to build and maintain reports with minimal assistance
• Prefer experience with SQL and/or statistical languages such as R and Python
• Prefer experience with transportation management systems such as McLeod, OTM, TMW or similar
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Good organizational skills

Salary: $25,000 per month + $1,000 in food vouchers.
