About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee intermodal transportation operations, ensuring efficient coordination between rail, trucking, and related logistics partners. This role plays a key part in shipment execution, documentation accuracy, and real-time operational follow-up.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate intermodal shipments, including rail and ground transportation.

• Ensure compliance with loading and unloading schedules at intermodal ramps and yards.

• Maintain constant communication with railroad companies, ramp operators, customs brokers, and trucking providers.

• Resolve operational issues in real time, including time-sensitive situations.

• Review and coordinate import/export documentation related to intermodal services.

• Schedule and manage delivery and pickup appointments at ramps, warehouses, and customer sites.

• Monitor shipment status and provide updates through spreadsheets or customer portals.

• Track delays, route changes, and transit incidents.

• Oversee efficient use of containers, chassis, and intermodal equipment, identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and costs.

• Validate and approve invoices related to intermodal logistics services.

• Support performance reporting and provide operational information to internal teams and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience in logistics coordination, intermodal operations, or transportation management.

• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Excel or similar tracking tools.

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.

• Advanced conversational English (spoken and written) – required for daily communication with international partners.
