Field Service Engineer – Laser Cutting Machines

📍 Location: Mexico (Travel Required)

Our client is a global company specialized in industrial machinery and laser cutting systems for the metalworking industry. They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support, installation, and maintenance of advanced laser cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of laser cutting machines at customer facilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
• Troubleshoot PLC and CNC systems
• Provide technical support and follow-up with customers
• Interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Support customers during equipment startup and service calls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in:

• Mechatronics Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• 3–5+ years of experience in field service engineering
• Experience with laser cutting machinery preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Advanced English

Technical Knowledge

• PLC and CNC systems
• Automation
• Electrical and mechanical systems
• Laser electronics
• Reading technical drawings and schematics

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Passport and US Visa
• Ability to travel within Mexico, USA and Canada
• Availability to travel Monday to Friday
• Strong communication skills
