Position Summary:
We are seeking a commercially driven Commercial Director / Country Manager to lead the company’s operations in Mexico, based in Monterrey. This role is responsible for driving business growth, leading the local team, and ensuring the achievement of commercial, financial, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the national commercial strategy focused on profitable growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across automotive, consumer goods, and manufacturing sectors
Manage local P&L, budgeting, and overall financial performance
Represent the company with key clients, industry organizations, and strategic partners
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and administration
Ensure alignment with global strategy and corporate objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
8+ years of experience in commercial and leadership roles, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, and team leadership
Advanced English (required)
Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and results-driven leadership
Additional Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience (e.g., Country Manager, General Manager, or similar)
Proven track record in executing commercial strategies and business expansion
Fluency in English and Spanish
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management capabilities
Experience managing long-term client and supplier relationships
Experience in structured, performance-driven environments
Availability for national and international travel
Valid passport and visa
Knowledge of import/export processes is a strong plus
Background in industrial sectors such as petrochemical, manufacturing, or distribution is desirable
