HR Generalist

Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico

Salary: MXN $35,000 – $42,000 per month

Position Objective

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations, including NOM-035. This role requires a strong presence on the production floor, supporting both operational and unionized employees while promoting employee engagement and implementing HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage labor relations, including disciplinary actions, employee counseling, and conflict resolution.

• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and NOM-035 requirements, including surveys, assessments, and audits.

• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, recognition programs, and company events.

• Maintain HR administrative processes, including attendance records, employee files, and personnel documentation.

• Oversee employee services such as transportation, cafeteria, and uniform administration.

• Lead recruitment and selection processes for operational and administrative positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience leading recruitment and selection processes for operational and administrative positions.

• Experience working with unionized workforces.

• Strong knowledge of NOM-035 and Mexican labor law compliance.

• Advanced English (required).

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly preferred.
